Angle Stable Radius Plate System WINSTA-R

The concept of angle stable fixated plates improves the fixation of the distal radius fractures.

WINSTA-R shows the following features:

  • High stability with little implant dimensions
  • Anatomically pre-shaped with volar bending
  • All screw holes can be used with either locking screws Ø 3.0 mm or standard self-cutting Ø 2.7 mm cortical screws. Additionally Ø 2.0 mm XXXX Abstützstifte can be used.
  • The special anodisation Typ II (Dotize®) of the implant surface reduces the affinity to cold welding between plate and screw which permits easier removal of the plate after fracture healing.
  • The angle stable plates are available with 2, 4 and 8 shaft holes and 3, 4 or 6 head holes.

(For metal removal please use a standard small fragment 2 .5 mm hexagonal screwdriver.)
