TWIN Compression Screw
Features and functional principle:
- The Compression Screw has two threads. One at the head (1) and the other at the tip (2) of the screw.
- The thread at the head has a larger diameter and a smaller lead than the one at the tip.
- Through this the distant fragment is pulled to fracture compression when the head thread is screwed in.
- The result is a stable internal fixation with compression.
- The screw is cannulated (3) for exact positioning of the device.
- The Compression Screw is available in diameters Ø 3.0/4.0 mm and Ø 4.5/5.5 mm.
